With deep roots in law, real estate, and global business development, he brings a rare combination of strategic discipline, cultural perspective, and entrepreneurial vision to every table he joins.
After building a substantial real estate portfolio across residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors, Cris expanded his focus to include international consulting and venture investing—supporting founders and companies across Europe, Africa, and beyond. What excites you most about the INSTRUMENTUM Foundation?
What excites me most is INSTRUMENTUM’s commitment to beauty, mastery, and legacy—three values that run deep in my personal journey and in the life philosophy of the Medici family, which I’ve studied and taught for years.
The Medici didn’t just fund art—they enabled greatness. They put world-class tools into the hands of extraordinary individuals, knowing that culture is shaped not just by ideas, but by the instruments through which those ideas come to life. That’s what INSTRUMENTUM is doing today with music—and that’s not charity. That’s long-term vision.

How do music and culture influence your business life?
More than most people realize. In business, we obsess over metrics—KPIs, growth, performance. But what sustains real leadership is rhythm, harmony, and emotional clarity. That’s what music teaches us.
Culture gives business its humanity. Whether I’m leading a team, negotiating a deal, or designing a new venture, I draw on art and music to stay grounded, creative, and connected. I often say: business is not just strategy—it’s sculpture. We’re shaping something that should move people, not just market shares.

Why did you found the Medici Community—and how does it connect to INSTRUMENTUM?
I founded the Medici Community to create a space for business owners who want more than success—they want significance. We help them grow in four essential domains: personal development, relationships, influence, and enterprise—following the principles of Cosimo de’ Medici, who built not just wealth, but a legacy that shaped civilization.
What makes our community different is the depth of our conversations. We don’t do surface-level networking. We study history, we debate philosophy, we challenge each other to grow. We believe business, when led with intention, can be one of the greatest tools for cultural renewal.

Was begeistert Sie besonders an der INSTRUMENTUM Stiftung?
Mich begeistert der klare Fokus der Stiftung auf Schönheit, Förderung und „Legacy“ – Werte, die nicht nur meine eigene Lebensreise prägen, sondern auch tief in der Philosophie der Medici-Familie verankert sind, mit der ich mich seit vielen Jahren intensiv beschäftige.
Die Medici haben nicht einfach Kunst gefördert – sie haben Genialität ermöglicht. Sie haben außergewöhnlichen Talenten die besten Werkzeuge ihrer Zeit anvertraut. Genau das tut INSTRUMENTUM heute: Hochbegabte Musiker erhalten Zugang zu Weltklasse-Instrumenten. Das ist keine Wohltätigkeit, das ist Weitsicht. Es geht darum, kulturelle Führungskräfte von morgen zu stärken.
Als Unternehmer denke ich oft in Rendite-Kategorien. Und ich glaube: Es gibt keine bessere Investition als in menschliches Potenzial. INSTRUMENTUM verfolgt einen langfristigen Ansatz – und dessen Wirkung reicht über Generationen hinaus.

Was macht INSTRUMENTUM in Ihren Augen so besonders?
INSTRUMENTUM vereint zwei Dinge, die selten zusammen gedacht werden: das Bewahren der handwerklichen Exzellenz historischer Instrumente und die gezielte Förderung junger Musiker auf ihrem Weg zur Meisterschaft.
Es ist keine klassische Stiftung – sondern ein Kurator für Exzellenz. Wie die Medici im Florenz der Renaissance verbindet INSTRUMENTUM Wirtschaft, Kultur und Vision. Denn Kultur ist kein Luxus – sie ist zentral für menschliches Wachstum.
Was mich besonders beeindruckt: Die Stiftung unterstützt nicht nur Talente, sie umgibt sie mit Kontext, Tiefe und Bedeutung. Das ist selten. Und darum so kraftvoll.

Welche Rolle spielen Musik und Kultur in Ihrem Geschäftsalltag?
Musik und Kultur sind für mich keine Nebensache – sie sind essenziell. In der Geschäftswelt sprechen wir viel über Strategie, Leistung und Effizienz. Aber was gute Führung wirklich trägt, ist Rhythmus, Harmonie und emotionale Klarheit – genau das lehrt uns die Musik.
Kultur erinnert mich daran: Ein Unternehmen zu führen ist nicht nur ein finanzielles, sondern auch ein schöpferisches Unterfangen. Wir gestalten nicht nur Strukturen – wir formen Leben, bauen Teams und hinterlassen Spuren. Musik hilft mir, inmitten von Druck und Entscheidungen Mensch zu bleiben.

Warum haben Sie die Medici Community gegründet – und wie passt sie zu INSTRUMENTUM?
Ich habe die Medici Community gegründet, um Unternehmern einen Raum zu bieten, in dem Erfolg nicht nur an Zahlen gemessen wird, sondern an Wirkung und Vermächtnis. Unsere Grundlage ist die Lebensphilosophie von Cosimo de’ Medici, die auf Wachstum in vier Bereichen basiert: Persönlichkeitsentwicklung, Beziehungen, Einfluss und Unternehmertum.
Was uns auszeichnet, ist die Tiefe. Wir bringen Menschen zusammen, die nicht auf der Oberfläche schwimmen wollen. Wir beschäftigen uns mit Geschichte, Philosophie und Persönlichkeitsbildung – weil wir glauben: Unternehmerisches Handeln kann ein mächtiges Instrument für kulturellen Wandel sein.
